How can I help?

The Funeral Assistance Team works solely on funding donations and volunteer of time.

We very much appreciate any financial support you may be able to give to our organization. Without the financial support we have received, we would not have been able to proivde the supplies and/or services to the many departments who have requested assistance. Future donations will allow us to continually cover expenses associated with responses and replace or upgrade supplies;  as well as purchase additional items that may be needed.

Your financial contribution is tax deductable as allowed by law, as we are a not for profit charitable organization.

Our Thanks

On May 1st, 2005 the Missouri Fire Service Memorial Foundation adopted the Funeral Assistance Team concept which will function under their guidence and direction. Our goal is to make this service available to ANY fire department who suffers a loss. In addition, the Fire Fighters Association of Missouri voted an expenditure of $12,500.00 to fully fund one complete response trailer. This overwhelming support takes a large burden from our shoulders. We will continue to seek funding for the other response units.

I want to thank the Fire Service Memorial Foundation for their willingness to take on this new program and again extend my deepest gratitude to the members of the Fire Fighters Association of Missouri for their generous donation.

Thank you to the Missouri Association of Fire Protection Districts for their generous contribuition!

Thank you to the Greater St. Louis Area Fire Chiefs Association who have graciously purchased several items for our response team when we were frist getting started!

Thank you to the Illinois Fire Chiefs Association Funeral Team, Dan Hermes - Pleasantview Fire Protection District for all of his help and assistance in establishing our response team.
